What Happens at your Initial Consultation?

It is important to take adequate time, right at the beginning of the relationship between you and your massage therapist, to gain a detailed history for you. This is so that your therapist can determine the most beneficial course of massage therapy for you.

Before attending your initial consultation with Leah, you will be asked to complete a detailed intake form. This helps your therapist deliver safe and individualised massage therapy services designed to achieve the most benefit to you. It is vital that you are open and honest as any preexisting injuries or conditions must be considered when deciding the most appropriate course of treatment for you.

Please be assured that all information you provide to us is stored securely and may only be viewed by your therapist for the purpose of providing you with the best possible experience.

Your Initial Consultation of 90-minutes will begin with a discussion between you and your massage therapist, filling any gaps in your history and ensuring your intake form is complete. This allows your therapist to gain a full understanding of your expectations to determine the best technique for you. Then, your massage can begin!
